Donegal Kayak Trips. Coastal Exploration.
Explore the Donegal coastline and discover the unseen and unspoiled places that can only be reached by kayak.
When you come along with us on one of our Donegal sea kayak coastal exploration journeys you will have the opportunity to be close to and interact with the Wild Atlantic Way dramatic scenery which Ireland is famous for.
Our Donegal kayak journeys are aimed at people with little or no experience of sea kayaking but have a strong desire to explore and be challenged, whilst having an unforgettable experience on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
Our aim is to get you to unspoilt natural and uninhabited locations where time has stood still with the possibility of paddling into sea caves, through sea arches along cliffs and stopping off to lunch at lonely beaches or rocky coves that can only be reached by kayak. It’s also a great opportunity to get close to a whole host of marine life and seabirds that make this corner of the Atlantic Ocean their home. All our kayak trips are run according to the guidelines and group ratios set out by the Sports Governing Body in Ireland, with the added benefit of being smaller, safer and more personalized groups.
Over the winter and early spring period – weather permitting, we sometimes run an inland kayak trip if sea conditions will not permit a sea kayak coastal journey. The inland kayak trips link up slow moving rivers and lakes in the Donegal hinterland. For more information regarding our Winter Inland Tours visit the Inland Kayak Tours page here.
